My Favorites this Year in Photos

The sun sets over the Pacific, and over the end of 2009

In February our family from Italy came to give a private wine tasting, and stayed with us for a few days of "vacanza"

Baby shower for a friend.  The theme: "hatching" but also classic children's stories. (She had a beautiful baby girl!)
 And, lots of cupcakes!

Smiles from our granddaughter Poppy warmed the cold during a visit to New York City in March.

More Farmer's Market Bag Classes; once a month in 2011

As the sun sets on 2010, and the ball drops in Times Square, I am  thankful for every opportunity I have had this year to travel, and teach, and spend time with family and friends. I'm looking forward to 2011 with anticipation, energy and hope.  Each year brings us new opportunities and challenges; meet them head on and give them your best--no one can ask for anything more than our best.  As I look ahead I'm praying for peace and hope around the world.
I wish you all a happy, healthy new year and encourage you to celebrate every day; each one is a gift.
